Santina is currently the longest serving Accredited Family Law Specialist in Ringwood. She has practised in family law for over twenty years, having joined Aughtersons in 1999. Santina became a Director of Aughtersons on 1 August 2014. An Accredited Specialist since 2005, Santina is experienced in dealing with the many and varied facets of family law, including:

• Applications for Divorce

Parenting matters:

• Disputes over the time that each parent spends with their children
• disputes over a parent’s capacity to spend time with their children due to substance abuse, family violence or other protective concerns
• Disputes over schooling arrangements
• Relocation
• Paternity
• Obtaining Orders for children’s passports to enable overseas travel without the consent of a parent

Financial matters:

• “Prenuptial” or “cohabitation” Agreements (Financial Agreements)
• Property disputes arising out of the breakdown of marriage or de facto relationships, including same sex relationships
• Formalising property settlements, when parties have reached agreement on the division of their assets
• Spousal maintenance
• Child support
• Injunctions and restraining orders
• Superannuation
• Disputes involving third parties
