    Clare joined Aughtersons in 2016 from a wills and estate practice at a boutique city firm and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria Succession Law Committee.

    Clare is also an Accredited Wills & Estates Specialist (Law Institute of Victoria) and is committed to providing tailored solutions for her clients. Working in conjunction with other professional advisers, such as financial planners and accountants, Clare aims to achieve the best outcome in a timely and cost effective manner.

    Clare practices predominantly in the areas of:

    Estate planning including:
    • Preparation of Wills incorporating testamentary trusts, protective trusts and special disability trusts.
    • Powers of attorney (financial, personal and medical).
    • Preparing, reviewing, amending and vesting trust deeds and superannuation fund deeds.
    • Superannuation planning & binding death benefit nominations.
    • Estate planning for family discretionary trusts and businesses.

    Deceased estates including:
    • Grants of probate and administration including contested grants.
    • Estate and trust disputes and litigation including testator’s family maintenance (Part IV) claims, acting for either claimants or executors.
    • VCAT applications such as Guardianship, Administration and Co-owned Property disputes.

    Clare is available to present at seminars on estate planning and deceased estates.
