AUGHTERSONS
is a regionally based legal practice which commenced operation in Ringwood in 1964.

The original proprietor, Bill Aughterson, quickly developed a reputation as being a fearless, fair and independent solicitor. The business has sought to maintain that reputation ever since.

The practice now involves approximately 30 people, including 3 Partners, 7 lawyers, 4 para-legal officers and 16 administration personnel.

Aughtersons’ objectives are best summarized as follows:

  • To be respected for providing quality broad range legal and related services in the Eastern region.
  • To create and maintain friendly but highly professional relationships with our clients, communicating openly and honestly with them.
  • To remain highly skilled, well trained, energetic, organized and totally attuned to the growing needs of the community and deliver the highest quality service every time.
  • To achieve through individual and team effort, a rewarding and highly enjoyable workplace for all.

The practice offers the range of service appropriate to the broad needs of its regional largely suburban based community.

The focus is on providing relevant advice in the areas of:

  • General Commercial Law
  • Family Law
  • Litigation
  • Conveyancing, Property, Wills and Probate.

Our client base ranges from individuals and families to complicated business enterprises and local government organisations. We aim to provide capable advice in most legal areas, but do not pretend to be all things to all people.

We are only too happy to refer business that is beyond our expertise (eg: Environmental Law and Trademark and Patent Law).
