Nisar grew up and was educated in Tasmania and was admitted as a barrister and Solictor of the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 1993. He commenced practice in the areas of litigation gaining experience in the Criminal, Civil and Family Law jurisdictions with an emphasis on Family Law.
Nisar relocated to Victoria from Tasmania with his wife and two children in 2000. Nisar has practised exclusively in the Family Law jurisdiction since moving to Victoria.
Nisar joined Aughtersons in March 2010 having gained a broad experience in complex Commercial Family Law property disputes including de facto relationships jurisdiction as well as Child Welfare matters including difficult custody disputes, relocation applications, paternity disputes and child support matters.
Nisar's main priority is to attend to his client's specific needs and effectively meet their objectives by early identification of relevant issues and problem solving in a sensitive and approachable manner.
Nisar is a welcome member of the Aughtersons Family Law team. Nisar is dedicated to his family outside of work and appreciates and understands the importance of each party's role following separation.
